Happy new year!!

As you all know from coming to our Goodexcuse4aparty, Crisis provides shelter, friendship and fun for homeless people over the Christmas period.

It seems like ages ago now but the £1135 we raised on the 21st June at the first goodexcuse4aparty contributed to keeping amazing projects like this going!

Once again A BIG THANK YOU to everyone – from the amazing Aruba Red, Back to the Rhythm, The Freewheelers for the live music, Plastic Pippo, DJ COCK and B Harrison for the DJ sets, to Ada and Victor the VJs, Todd Pacey the photographer, everyone who helped on the door, blew up balloons and helped out in many different ways to make the night go smoothly!+ The venue, the Others, who gave us a great space rent free for the night – and you guys all drank enough to make it worth it for them apparently !!! + all the great souls who showed up to north London with no tube station around + everyone who donated even if they could’t make it...

A little history....

If you're reading this page, chances are you know Sylvie, Kayvan or Kate and have been persuaded to come to this fantastic event without knowing much about it.... well here's a little story to shed some light. We three met while volunteering at the Crisis open Christmas 2007. We were really inspired by the great work that Crisis do and realised that we wanted to help out however we could during the Summer months too....running or trekking for sponsorship all sounded a little bit physical, thus we decided to focus on we do best - and goodexcuse4aparty was born.
